Agricultural and Farm Infrastructure
Agricultural education and practical skills development are central to the learning experience at UNITE – Unyama Campus. The institution boasts extensive agricultural and farm infrastructure that provides hands-on training in modern farming practices, agribusiness, and livestock management.
Students actively participate in practical projects involving crop production, irrigation farming, livestock management, poultry farming, piggery, and pasture management. The well-fenced grazing areas, irrigation schemes, demonstration plots, and livestock units provide valuable opportunities for experiential learning and agricultural innovation.
The campus also supports coffee and maize production, giving students exposure to commercial agriculture and agribusiness operations. Through these practical experiences, learners develop entrepreneurial skills, technical competence, and an appreciation for sustainable agricultural practices.
The agricultural facilities position the campus as a strong centre for practical agricultural education and community-oriented learning.
