Mr. Lot Pario is a seasoned educator and academic leader currently serving as Lecturer and Dean at the Uganda National Institute for Teacher Education (UNITE), Unyama Campus. He brings to this role a wealth of experience in teacher education, institutional leadership, and human resource management spanning over three decades.
He holds a Master of Human Resource Management in Education from Uganda Christian University and a Bachelor of Education from the same institution. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Education Management at Gulu University, further deepening his commitment to advancing teacher education in Uganda.
Prior to the transition of National Teachers' Colleges into UNITE, Lot served as Caretaker Principal of NTC Unyama and Deputy Principal of NTC Mubende, demonstrating strong capacity in institutional governance and academic administration. His earlier career at NTC Muni, where he rose to the level of Senior Lecturer and School Practice Officer, shaped his deep grounding in teacher training and professional development.
He has facilitated numerous national and institutional training programmes in human resource management, curriculum delivery, mentorship, and educational leadership, and has been recognized for his contributions to teacher professional development under the ENABEL-supported Skills Development for Human Resource (SDHR) project
